DATA Uruguay

Organised by the Open Knowledge Foundation and owned, in the broadest sense, by the open community, the Festival brought together in July 2014 over 1,000 people from more than 60 countries to share their skills and experiences.

Rich and diverse programme covered various topics linked and related to open society and data, e.g. open data, open cities, open design, open development, journalism and storytelling, open government, open mapping, personal data and privacy etc. Do check the full programme of the 2014 OK Festival.

Detailed notes captured at the event, and in some cases amended after, are here on the session Etherpads. You can also browse the programme to find a particular session, ones with notes have a button linking to the corresponding Etherpad. There are also videos and podcasts  from the OK Festival available on the site.

If you have taken part in the 2014 OK Festival, please leave your review below from a perspective of a leaners, i.e. what the Festival helped you to learn and why would you recommend to other active learners.
